This role is responsible for performing production inspections and First Article Inspections on electromechanical, panel, and module assemblies; assisting in the analysis and resolution of product conformance issues; and contributing to quality assurance and continuous improvement efforts. The position also supports team development by mentoring new hires and providing guidance to inspectors as needed.\nEssential Functions:\n·Support Quality Engineers in ensuring products and services meet company standards and end-user requirements by assisting in the analysis and resolution of product conformance problems.\n·Perform inspections on electromechanical assemblies and panel/module assemblies. Assist in interpreting manufacturing drawings, specifications, and lists to approve or reject units.\n·Assist in performing quality planning tasks to ensure product conformance to requirements, including the preparation of control plans, instructions, procedures, and quality records.\n·Conduct and prepare First Article Inspections to AS 9102C requirements.\n·Support the training of inspectors and assist with product and manufacturing process audits to support quality assurance objectives.\n·Assist in evaluating defect data to identify trends and collaborate with Quality Engineers to recommend process improvements.\n·Help develop basic tools to facilitate efficient execution of quality planning, verification, and analytical processes.\n·Help to Support kaizen events, help to summarize outcomes, and make recommendations to management based on sound decision factors and business principles.\n·Assist in developing and maintaining procedures and work instructions relevant to the quality organization.\n·Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills.\n·Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).\nRequired Qualifications (one of the following):\n·Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience\n·2 years post-Secondary/associate’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience\nPreferred Additional Skills:\n·Good written and oral communication skills with the ability to interface across the organization to achieve effective results.\n·Previous experience with visual inspections\n·Proficient use of MS Office Suite\n·Experience conducting Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA)\n·Basic knowledge of IPC-610 and IPC-620 standards.\n·Basic knowledge of AS9100 Standard\n·Experience or exposure to aerospace
