This role will work as part of an agile, cross-functional team alongside architects, business system analysts, product owners, and senior developers to implement secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions that support critical enterprise use cases.\nEssential Functions:\nSupport the design, development, testing, and maintenance of full stack applications, workflows, and supporting services within the Palantir Foundry platform.\nDevelop user-facing functionality, backend logic, and workflow features to support enterprise use cases across finance, supply chain, operations, engineering, and strategic planning.\nTranslate user stories and functional requirements into technical solutions with guidance from senior developers and architects.\nAssist with development and maintenance of batch and near-real-time data pipelines integrating legacy enterprise systems into Foundry.\nImplement data transformations, validations, and quality checks to support reliable and accurate data products.\nWork with data architects and senior engineers to align development with ontology models, governance standards, and integration patterns.\nWrite clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following team standards for coding, testing, and review.\nParticipate in unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and defect resolution across application and data components.\nContribute to frontend and backend enhancements, including UI components, APIs, pipeline logic, and workflow automation.\nParticipate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, demos, and retrospectives.\nProvide task status updates, identify blockers, and support delivery commitments for assigned work.\nContribute to continuous improvement of team development practices and tooling.\nWork closely with product owners, business analysts, architects, and peer developers to understand requirements and deliver effective technical solutions.\nCollaborate with security, infrastructure, and operations teams to support compliant and reliable deployments.\nLearn and apply enterprise architecture standards, secure development practices, and platform development guidelines.\nDevelop proficiency in Palantir Foundry development frameworks, ontology-driven application development, and enterprise data integration patterns.\nLeverage modern development tools, including AI-assisted engineering tools where appropriate, to improve productivity and quality.\nContinuously build technical knowledge in software engineering, data engineering, and platform-based application delivery.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.\nPreferred Additional Skills:\nExperience developing software applications using modern programming languages such as Python, Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar.\nExperience with full stack software development, including frontend development, backend services, APIs, and data-driven applications.\nExperience working with relational or non-relational databases, data transformation logic, and systems integration. \nUnderstanding of software engineering best practices including version control, code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and CI/CD concepts.\nExperience working in agile development environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams.\nStrong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.\nExperience with Palantir Foundry, including pipelines, Code Repositories, Workshop, Operational Applications, or ontology-based development.\nExperience building or supporting enterprise data pipelines, ETL processes, or application integrations across multiple systems.\nExperience with frontend frameworks such as React or Angular.\nExperience with backend/API development and scripting in Python or Java.\nFamiliarity with cloud platforms, DevOps concepts, containerization, or infrastructure automation.\nExposure to AI/ML-enabled workflows, analytics applications, or data products.\nExperience in regulated industries such as defense, aerospace, manufacturing, finance, or healthcare.\nFamiliarity with secure software development practices and data governance concepts.\nIn compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $80,500-$149,500. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont is $70,500-$130,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
