In this role, will play a key role in the design, development, integration, and sustainment of electrical test systems that support space-based imaging payloads, spacecraft electronics, and onboard subsystems. You will be part of a collaborative engineering environment focused on innovation, rapid development, and precision execution.\nThis position is located in Fort Wayne: https://careers.l3harris.com/en/Fort-Wayne\nEssential Functions:\nDevelop electrical ground support equipment and automated test systems to support assembly, integration, and verification of space-based imaging payloads and spacecraft electronics.\nDesign and implement simulation environments for spacecraft buses, payload interfaces, and electrical subsystems.\nIntegrate instrumentation, power systems, communication interfaces, and control hardware into cohesive, maintainable EGSE solutions.\nSupport hardware bring-up, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis during test execution.\nCollaborate with systems engineering to interpret requirements and allocate test capabilities.\nEnsure EGSE systems meet program performance, reliability, safety, and compliance requirements.\nGenerate engineering documentation including schematics, wiring diagrams, ICDs, acceptance test reports, and configuration records.\nProvide technical support during environmental test campaigns, functional validation, and spacecraft-level integration activities.\nDrive continuous improvement in test architecture, automation, and standardization across the product line.\nAbility to obtain a US security clearance.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.\nPreferred Additional Skills:\nExperience developing electronic test equipment, simulation systems, or automated test platforms.\nProficiency with electrical design fundamentals, digital/analog interfaces, and power system design.\nHands-on experience with lab instrumentation (DMM, power supplies, scopes, logic analyzers).\nAbility to interpret requirements, schematics, and interface control documents.\nExperience with troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and verification methodologies.\nExperience designing for a space environment.\nHold a current security Clearance or the ability to obtain a security clearance\nExperience with PCB design tools (Altium, Cadence Allegro, or similar).\nExperience in high-volume or mission-critical manufacturing environments\nKnowledge of FPGA-based interfaces or embedded systems.\nPrior experience supporting integration and test of aerospace or defense products.\nExperience with configuration management tools and formal test documentation.\nExperience leading teams and project designs\nTrade study execution and ownership\nProblem-solving skills with ability to proactively identify alternate solutions to overcome difficult technical challenges.\nProvide mentorship to early career
