Preferable holds a current clearance\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. \nPreferred Additional Skills:\nA strong focus on designing for, and testing to MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-464 and RTCA/DO-160 specifications.\nExperience with common lab equipment, such as: Oscilloscopes, Spectrum Analyzers, Receivers, Signal Generators, RF amplifiers, Antennas, EMI current probes.\nStrong foundation in electromagnetics, RF/microwave theory, and electronic warfare.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team in the development of RF systems and assemblies.\nA working knowledge of electromagnetic theory, radiated and conducted emissions, signal and power coupling effects, susceptibility of systems, Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC), Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3), Lightning effects, EMP and HEMP.\nExperience with EMI/EMC design techniques for wide-band, high-isolation performance, signal containment, source suppression and RF grounding. Applicable for PCBs, sub-assemblies and system-level hardware for hand-held, aircraft, ground, and shipboard systems and platforms\nExperience with EMC simulation software tools is desired.
