Industrial Engineers are responsible for Labor Performance Analyses, Process and Value Stream Mapping, Line Balancing, Capacity Planning, Manpower Planning, Factory Layouts, Factory Simulations, Strategic Planning, Project Management, Continuous Improvement, and more. We hope you are as excited about this opportunity as we are.\nEssential Functions:\nModel factory operations by generating process flows, value stream maps, pareto charts, spaghetti diagrams, and CAD drawings to graphically show production processes, the movement of material, the exchange of information, and key performance indicators\nCalculate resource utilization and identify throughput constraints\nApply Six Sigma and Lean Manufacturing principles to reduce undesirable effects, improve efficiency, and meet or exceed cost, quality, and on-time delivery goals\nInfluence factory roadmaps and investment strategies by drafting infrastructure improvement and expansion proposals, and planning the integration of new products, technologies, and equipment that create a competitive advantage \nWork with cross-functional teams to execute projects that address obsolescence, improve factory performance, and promote growth\nSupport new production contract/new product proposals and new product integration efforts\nImprove factory safety and work cell ergonomics\nThe ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance\nPossession of a valid driver’s license\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 0-2 years of prior related experience.
