This position is at the Wescam USA Optical Solutions facility in Loveland, Colorado. This role will also support the Field Service Representatives, Sales and Demo Representatives and will be required to travel to other locations as needed.\nThe Inventory Management support professional will be proficient in their role and be able to work under limited supervision. The position is responsible for implementing, establishing and maintaining inventory management that provides accurate asset visibility, inventory, and status reporting. A successful candidate for this role will have effective communication with colleagues within and outside the Optical Solutions facility on matters requiring explanation or providing information. Typical work schedule is 80 hours every two weeks with every other Friday off, but occasional overtime may be required.\nEssential Functions:\nResponsible for planning, controlling and managing activities related to inventory control, shipping/receiving, storing and traffic analysis of materials or finished goods.\nAssists the Service Center manager with all incoming parts and their proper disposition to inventory or active repairs.\nResponsible for all incoming and outgoing parcel and freight shipments from the Wescam USA Loveland, Colorado facility. \nResponsible for managing and interpreting calibration reports to ensure calibrated tools are inventoried, monitored, and delivered to support facility repairs and other projects. \nResponsible for Quarterly Hazardous Material inventory and replenishment process.\nCoordinate shipping activities which adhere to state, federal, and global regulations and import/export requirements. This role will work very closely with Trade Compliance professionals within the organization.\nThis role may be asked to assist with other activities around the Optical Solutions facility including work around aircraft on the flightline.\nAdministration and purchasing duties in automated company system, Ariba, for on-site and geographically separated groups.\nMaintain a WESCAM-owned inventory and tracking database at the facility.\nEnsure customer satisfaction by responding to logistics support requests in timely manner.\nOther tasks or duties as assigned.\nOccasional travel required (10%).\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.\nPreferred Additional Skills:\nSpecial Operations, AFSOC, DOD, Airborne Law Enforcement or other similar experience is desired.\nMinimum of 4 years’ experience with MS Office applications including Word and Excel is required as well as with specialized software test programs.\nFamiliarity with government contracting is preferred but not required.\nPractical knowledge of project management. \nPrevious experience communicating with contacts within and outside of own department and may occasionally have responsibility for communicating with parties external to the organization.\nPrevious success working under limited supervision or autonomously. \nPrevious experience successfully prioritizing and managing multiple projects at one time. This would include proven, acute attention to detail & excellent organizational skills.\nPrevious experience working to achieve operational targets with impact on departmental results. \nMinimum of 2-4 years in Customer Administration, Logistics/Operations Support, or Technical Repair Management environments.\nMust maintain eligibility requirements to access U.S. classified information.\nForklift operator certification is preferred.\nIn compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, Vermont and Virginia is $50,500- $93,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
