This person will work through production with fiber optics, mechanical, electrical, and electro-optic manufacturing processes and simultaneously plan multiple product builds for multiple programs.\nEssential Functions:\nPlans, schedules, coordinates and/or monitors final approval of products through the complete production cycle to meet production requirements.\nWorks from engineering plans and production specifications to ensure materials are provided according to schedules.\nAdvises management of the status of work in progress, coordinates with manufacturing, quality, and supply chain and interfaces with engineering and program management as well as external customers.\nEnsures availability of materials and labor to meet production requirements and delivery commitments. Works to resolve labor and material shortages, backlogs and other potential schedule interruptions.\nFamiliarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems and Product Lifecycle Management tools.\nFamiliarity with hardware manufacturing processes and able to simultaneously plan multiple product builds for multiple programs.\nAct as a liaison with material management as the primary representative of the cross-functional hardware team.\nAbility to organize and manage large amounts of hardware and keep stock under control.\nMust be able to maintain a safe and orderly work environment.\nMust to obtain a TS/SCI with poly US Government security clearance. \nQualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.\nPreferred Additional Skills:\nActive TS/SCI with Poly\nExperience in production planning, scheduling, and control, preferably in a manufacturing environment related to hardware such as fiber optics assemblies, electronics or circuit card assemblies (CCAs).\nFamiliarity with fiber optics assemblies\nFamiliarity with the CCA manufacturing process\nKnowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and techniques for maximizing operational efficiency.\nProficiency with production planning software and systems, such as MES and PLM systems.\nFamiliarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.\nAbility to analyze production data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.\nIn compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California is $60,000 - $112,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
