The individual should be able to work independently at a high level with reach-back support available for complex issues that require engineering support. The individual will be responsible for deploying, troubleshooting, operating and training while embedded with the customer.\nEssential Functions:\nSupporting customers onsite with complex communication equipment\nSupport routine and scheduled maintenance on SATCOM terminals, RF equipment, baseband systems, antennas, power systems, and related network components.\nTroubleshoot, isolate, and resolve hardware, software, and network faults to restore full system functionality.\nConduct system health checks, diagnostics, and performance monitoring.\nCoordinate with engineering support teams and vendors for escalated issues, repairs, and system upgrades.\nSupport DoD projects/programs with preference given to cross domain C4ISR and/or Information Operations experience\nIntegration and application of hardware and software on system/networks\nCapability to troubleshoot problems at component, system, and network\nFrequently responsible for providing guidance, coaching, and training to other employees across the Company within area of expertise.\nCommunicates within and outside of the organization which include customers or vendors.\nCommunicates with leadership regarding matters of importance to the functional or business area.\nMay conduct briefings with customers and program leadership\nWork consists of making significant improvements of processes, systems, solutions, or products to enhance performance of job area.\nMust be able to provide support OCONUS embedded with customer with reach-back Engineering support as needed\nConfigure, operate, and monitor SATCOM equipment to ensure optimal link performance and availability.\nAssist in system integration with customer networks, tactical systems, or communications infrastructure.\nMaintain accurate logs of outages, events, configurations, and maintenance actions.\nDeliver hands-on training to customer personnel on system operation, basic troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.\nServe as the on-site technical subject matter expert (SME) for all aspects of the SATCOM system.\nPrepare and maintain documentation including SOPs, maintenance records, configuration baselines, and technical reports.\nDeploy to customer locations, sometimes in remote or austere environments, based on mission requirements.\nManage spare parts, tools, and system components to ensure operational readiness.\nSupport installation, upgrades, integration, and acceptance testing of new system components.\nOther duties as required by customer and program\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.\nU.S. Citizenship.\nActive DoD Top Secret/SCI clearance with current 5-year update\nMust have or be able to pass a polygraph.\nMust have or be able to get Security+ within a year of employment.\nExperience supporting DoD projects/programs with preference given to cross domain C4ISR and/or Information Operations experience.\nExperience using Microsoft Office products\nPhysical Requirements: ability to lift to 50 lbs.\nMust be able to be in-country with OCONUS customer for two years with periodic CONUS morale travel\nPreferred Additional Skills:\nHands-on operational experience with Linux (CentOS/Red Hat) and Windows Server systems software installation, configuring, troubleshooting, and repairing.\nFamiliarity or experience with supporting major joint/combatant command software systems.\nFamiliarity or experience with Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS) and/or Air Operations Centers (AOC).\nFamiliarity or Experience with containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, and Docker-Compose).\nComfortable working in a command line/non-GUI environment.\nExcellent people skills, with experience leading and collaborating in a multi-disciplinary, diverse, and dynamic team environment.\nExcellent communication skills (written, verbal, &
