Represents organization on specific projects. \nPrepare proposal requests consistent with the requirements of the contract.\nDevelop new sources of supply based on quality product, on-time delivery and competitive pricing.\nSolicit and award purchase orders consistent with the requirements of the contract.\nParticipate and contribute to departmental and company-wide process improvements and lean initiatives.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. \nPreferred Additional Skills:\nExperience with purchasing, supply chain, or related experience in a manufacturing environment.\nKnowledge of Supply Chain principles and concepts in defense contracting.\nKnowledge in the procurement processes of military grade products.\nKnowledge of International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Acquisition Regulations (DFAR).\nExperience purchasing electronics, custom metal fabricated parts, cable and wiring harnesses, and / or complex electrical components and assemblies.\nMust be a self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAdvanced Excel skills including use of pivot tables, lookup tables, etc.\nIn compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this remote role in California, Connecticut, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C., Denver, or NYC areas is $84,000 - $156,000. The salary range for this remote role in Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Minnesota, New York State, Cleveland, Ohio, Vermont, and Virginia is $73,000 - $135,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
