You will be responsible for designing the software per requirements documents and system level design documents. There will be a focus to interface with the test engineers to influence test automation.\nThe Agile Development Group (ADG) division specializes in developing disruptive, next-generation technologies for advanced Unmanned Air Systems (UAS / UAV), advanced radar systems, next-generation weapon systems, and other RF sensor technologies using small company agility and big company experience.\nEssential Functions:\nApply computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis concepts and principles in the development of software for the targeted platform\nAdvanced skills in modern C++\nLead Technical development of software team including agile story development and planning\nWork closely with cross functional members of the engineering organization to develop and evaluate interfaces between hardware, firmware, and software, and operational performance requirements and design of the overall system\nInvestigate root cause of complex issues, and implement solutions, working independently or with a multi-discipline team\nSupport and participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, hardware-software integration, and formal test\nInterface with the customer to understand requirements, provide software packages, and facilitate integration events\nDevelop software test plans and procedures, and other relevant technical documentation\nUtilize modeling tools and equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests, prototype, and evaluate results\nExperience with Modern C++, Python\nFamiliar with containerized development and tools like Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm in a Linux environment\nExperience with Agile Scrum/Kanban development processes and procedures \nParticipate in peer reviews, identify, track, and repair defects\nU.S. citizen\nAbility to obtain a US Secret security clearance\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field \nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience.
