Responsibilities include the translation of requirements into working and maintainable solutions for our ntegrated Systems & Encryption division.The selected candidate will apply technical proficiency across various stages of our SDLC, gather requirements and work closely with stakeholders to prioritize and scope tasks. The selected candidate will be working as a key team member on a Scrum team and will be instrumental in setting our direction and strategy for product and infrastructure development.\nEssential Functions\nSupport the engineering team members in embedded software application development\nInvestigate root cause of complex issues, and implement solutions, working independently or with a multi-discipline team\nApply computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis concepts and principles in the development of software for the target hardware\nWork closely with cross functional members of the engineering organization to develop and evaluate interfaces between hardware and software, and operational performance requirements and design of the overall system\nSupport and participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, hardware-software integration, and formal test\nDevelop software test plans and procedures, and other relevant technical documentation\nUtilize modeling tools and equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental tests, prototype, and evaluate results\nParticipate in peer reviews, identify, track and repair defects\nUtilize a variety of software languages (primarily C/C++ and Python developing code for embedded real time operating systems (VxWorks, Linux, Integrity)\nRequirements\nU.S. citizenship with a Active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret clearance\nBachelor's or Master’s degree in computer engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field\n2+ years of experience debugging applications on simulated and/or target hardware\nUsage of a Real-Time Operating System (RTOS), such as Green Hills Integrity, VxWorks, or similar\nExcellent oral and written communication skills\nPreferred Additional Skills\nObject-oriented design and implementation experience, with exposure to software modeling and UML tools such as IBM Rhapsody or MagicDraw/Cameo\nExperience developing device drivers and Board Support Packages for real time embedded systems\nExperience with Information Assurance and/or crytography\nExperience with NSA Type 1 certification or other SW certification such as DO-178\nIn compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $91,000 - $135,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
