This role will report directly to a Senior Engineering Manager and is responsible for successfully designing electronic circuit boards for radios and associated equipment, as well as working with cross-functional teams to support product integration and manufacturing introduction\nEssential Functions:\nResponsible for architecture, design, schematic capture, simulation, validation, test and maintenance of digital/analog electronic circuit boards\nCreate architectures and designs based upon provided system requirements\nCreate designs within time and cost constraints\nSpecification of initial component placement, followed by analysis/review of layouts returned from layout group\nSupport of circuit board assemblies throughout in-house manufacturing\nIntegration of circuit board assemblies into radio/antenna systems\nPerform/support subsystem and system level verification and validation testing\nPerform/support EMI/EMC emission testing\nIdentify, track and repair assigned hardware defects\nFlexible team player with ability to balance competing priorities\nParticipate in and/or support radio/antenna performance field testing\nAbility to obtain a US security clearance is required\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience\nPreferred Additional Skills:\nExperience with automation tools such as Python, LabVIEW\nKnowledge of EMI/EMC design and test techniques for conducted and radiated emissions (MIL-STD-461)\nKnowledge of environmental test methods and techniques (MIL-STD-810)\nBasic understanding of Radio Frequency (RF) circuits and architectures\nExperience with Boundary Scan methodologies and tools\nExperience with programmable logic devices\nIn compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York State is $80,500 - $149,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
