Additional job-related duties may be assigned as necessary to support business objectives and organizational requirements.\nDesired Skills and Knowledge\nProficient knowledge of Configuration Management principles, concepts, practices and standards, including EIA 649 and ISO 10007.\nProficient knowledge of PLM, PDM and ERP systems used to manage engineering data, product structures and engineering changes.\nStrong ability to understand and interpret complex engineering drawings, BOMs, technical documentation and engineering terminology.\nStrong knowledge of component management, commercial part management and obsolescence processes.\nPractical knowledge of project management principles with demonstrated ability to lead projects, processes or significant engineering change activities.\nStrong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to independently investigate and resolve issues involving multiple functions or areas of consideration.\nDemonstrated ability to exercise sound judgement and independently determine appropriate approaches within established engineering and configuration management practices.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain, interpret and gain cooperation on engineering change processes, requirements and practices across functions.\nDemonstrated ability to coordinate cross functional activities and drive significant engineering changes, projects and issues through to closure.\nStrong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, assignments and competing operational requirements.\nDemonstrated ability to identify, recommend and implement meaningful improvements to processes, systems and workflows.\nAbility to provide technical guidance, coaching and training to less experienced employees.\nAbility to review the work of others and provide constructive technical and process feedback.\nStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.\nCMII or CMPIC certification is considered an asset.\nMeets the requirements of the Controlled Goods Registration Program and is eligible for a Canadian government security clearance.\nProficiency in the local language (spoken and written) is required where necessary to effectively perform the responsibilities of the role, collaborate with employees and stakeholders, and support business operations within the local market.\nEducation and Experiences Requirements\nRequires proficient knowledge of job area.
