This role is responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing the reconfiguration, maintenance, and construction of facilities, equipment, and infrastructure, ensuring all work aligns with specifications, regulations, budgets, and schedules. The position evaluates project feasibility, collaborates with architecture and engineering partners to develop design criteria, and prepares key documents including statements of work, bid packages, and project justifications. It involves reviewing and estimating costs, managing approved budgets, and overseeing construction activities from inception through installation. The ideal candidate brings strong facilities maintenance expertise and practical project management experience, communicates effectively with internal and external stakeholders, and contributes recommendations to improve systems and processes while driving operational results for assigned programs and projects.\nEssential Functions:\nOversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.\nReviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports. \nAssesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. \nDevelops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.\nCommunicates with contacts in own team to explain and interpret information.\nContributes to systems and processes changes in work routines.\nBasic computer navigation skills.\nAbility to work overtime as needed.\nAbility to obtain a U.S. security clearance.\nQualifications:\nRequires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience. \nPreferred Additional Skills:\nBe able to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications\nWorking knowledge of a CMMS\nExperience working in a manufacturing/office environment\nGood communication skills and teamwork\nMechanically inclined \nAbility to read and write.\nCommunicate status and issues to the Assembly Manager.\nIn compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York (Greater NYC area) is $79,000.00 MIN - $147,000.00 MAX. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
