This role supports the development, implementation, and improvement of manufacturing methods for complex electronic and electro-mechanical assemblies, with a focus on safety, quality, delivery, and throughput.\nThe selected candidate will support the production of circuit card assemblies (CCA), sub-assemblies, cable/harness assemblies, chassis assemblies, and higher-level system integrations. This individual will work closely with Operations, Quality, Test, Reliability, Design Engineering, Supply Chain, and Program teams to address manufacturing issues, improve process efficiency, and support production execution to meet customer requirements.\nThis position requires strong technical aptitude, the ability to manage multiple assignments in a production environment, and experience with electronics manufacturing processes, tooling, process documentation, and continuous improvement. Familiarity with printed circuit board design, fabrication, and assembly processes is beneficial.\nEssential Functions:\nSupport manufacturing engineering activities for production hardware to ensure safe, efficient, and repeatable processes that meet quality and delivery requirements along with dispositioning non-conformances of products.\nAssist in developing, implementing, improving, and sustaining manufacturing processes for complex avionics hardware including CCAs, microelectronic assemblies, cable/harness assemblies, chassis, and higher-level assemblies\nGenerate, update, and maintain Assembly Method Sheets (AMS), work instructions, process flows, tooling requirements, and related manufacturing documentation\nSupport evaluation of manufacturing constraints and implementation of process improvements to improve producibility, yield, cycle time, and throughput\nDesign and develop manufacturing tools, fixtures, and process aids with emphasis on standardization, mistake-proofing, and operator effectiveness\nCreate manufacturing fixturing using in-house additive manufacturing resources and other appropriate tooling methods\nSupport automation and semi-automation initiatives for manual manufacturing processes such as torque application, chemical dispensing, and similar assembly operations\nProvide day-to-day technical support to manufacturing technicians and operators to ensure proper execution of manufacturing processes\nCommunicate effectively with internal and external customers regarding manufacturing issues, priorities, and status\nSupport root cause investigations and corrective/preventive actions related to nonconformances, recurring defects, process escapes, and yield issues\nSupport MRB activities including review of discrepant hardware, defect trend analysis, and implementation of corrective actions\nReview drawing revisions and parts list updates for manufacturing impact and support incorporation of engineering changes into production\nAnalyze workflow, labor content, and material flow to support improvements in manufacturing and test throughput\nSupport lean and continuous improvement initiatives of both technical and operational nature to reduce waste and improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost\nUse data and process metrics to identify trends and support manufacturing performance improvements\nPrioritize and execute in an environment with multiple concurrent tasks and responsibilities\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.\nExperience with CCA manufacturing processes, cable assemblies, and electro-mechanical assemblies\nExperience supporting manufacturing issue resolution and process improvements in electronics, avionics, aerospace, or defense production environment\nExperience supporting manufacturing documentation, process control, and engineering change implementation\nPreferred Additional Skills:\nWorking knowledge and general understanding of IPC-A-610, J-STD-001 and AS9100.\nBackground in manufacturing of electronics for Military and Government Systems\nExperience in Lean principles;
