providing leadership and technical/project guidance for IRAD funded, customer funded NRE and or non-standard product configurations\nLead NPI projects, ensuring timely execution of deliverables\nDevelop and maintain project plans, including schedules, budgets, and resource allocation\nMonitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues\nCollaborate with design, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure manufacturability and scalability of new products\nFacilitate operational readiness reviews and assessments for low rate and full rate production\nServe as a liaison between program management, engineering and operations teams to address technical challenges, understanding of contractual requirements and communicate project risks\nPrepare design stage gate review package highlighting operations development progress, risk profile and CapEx\nResponsible for presenting to various levels of cross-functional leadership in design reviews and various business meetings\nResponsible for providing project estimations, ETCs and adherence for Earn Value Management reporting in JIRA\nResponsible for defining, project managing and tracking adherence to product targets (hours per unit, material/labour costs, lead time, yield) by organizing, leading and or facilitating DFx toolsets\nParticipate in the bid and proposal process by providing operations assessment, risks and CapEx requirements\nLead/Participate in project scrum(s), daily production cell team meeting(s), etc.\nUnderstanding cause and effect of changes affecting program schedule, quality and cost\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and product quality\nCoach junior team members on project management/manufacturing best practices, methodologies and lessons learned\nCompliance with the companies Quality Management System and AS9100\nAbility to effective manage multiple projects simultaneously\nDemonstrate through project leadership behaviours of integrity, respect and excellence\nTravel to Don Mills location, when required\nDesired Skills and Knowledge\nExcellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office including MS Project\nStrong technical communication skills, both written and verbal\nExcellent organizational and planning/project management skills\nKnowledge of MRP system(s)\nKnowledge/experience of Confluence/JIRA\nKnowledge of operations and manufacturing environments\nAbility to lead the closure of technical issues\nDynamic, resourceful and takes initiative (sense of urgency, innovative, problem solver)\nAbility to challenge the status quo and develop innovative solutions to achieve operational efficiencies\nData driven decision making approach\nExcellent functional skills of Project Management tools\nExperience presenting to executive and or senior leadership\nMust have a well-rounded project management background with experience in a high tech environment\nStrong analytical and critical thinking skills\nAttention to detail\nStrong knowledge of current and advanced Manufacturing processes and technologies\nStrong interpersonal skills to engage with diverse stakeholders and work effectively in cross-functional teams\nPMP Certification is an asset\nP.Eng license is an asset\nLean Greenbelt or Six Sigma certified is an asset\nEducation and Experiences\nRequires proficient knowledge of job area.\nMay have practical knowledge of project management.\nBachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience.\nGraduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
