Ensures that all resources such as engineering staffing, subcontractors, production, quality and facilities are available to support internal and external delivery targets. Manages programs to achieve MCC quarterly orders, revenue, OI & cash flow targets. Assists Sales team to secure new orders, formulate requirements, and help expedite orders. Works with customers to determine scope, technical and execution requirements and new business opportunities. Travel is required to customer locations.\n\nEssential Functions:\nExperience running programs in the Defense and Aerospace industry and managing contracts for the US DoD.\nExperience managing Direct Commercial Sales (DCS) programs.\nExperience managing complex integrated systems programs.\nDrive establishment and monitoring of key performance indicators related to cost, schedule, risk and technical performance across all program life-cycle phases, from kick-off through production.\nPrepare and present comprehensive reports regarding project status, financials, and performance to internal and external stakeholders.\nExperience managing multiple subcontractors.\nExperience managing program budgets >$5M.\nResponsible for defining scope of work including program deliverables to guide an internal cross-functional team.\nParticipates in the negotiation of contract and contract changes.\nDemonstrated ability to work in fast paced, dynamic environment.\nEffectively communicates with all levels of co-workers, senior management, and customer.\nGeneral knowledge of FAR/DFAR requirements, and DPAS rated contracts.\nAbility to travel within the US up to 20%.\n\nAbility to obtain a US Security Clearance\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of related experience \nMaster’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of related experience\nPrevious experience managing mid-size to large, complex programs including development or system integration\n\nPreferred Additional Skills:\nExperience managing development programs or programs with significant non-recurring engineering (NRE) effort.\nPrior experience managing recurring commercial/production programs.\nPMP certification.\nMS Project experience.\nEarned Value Management (EVM) experience.\nActive Security Clearance of Secret or greater.\nIn compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New York state is [$80,500 - $149,500]. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
