As a level 3 Systems Engineering Specialist your responsibilities may include proposal efforts, requirements definition/allocation, conceptual design, tradeoffs, detailed design and drawings, prototype build, and integration and test.\nEssential Functions:\nPerform core Systems Engineering tasks including technical baselines, trade studies, requirements management, design reviews, validation & verification, implementation, and customer support.\nParticipate in technical briefings, design reviews and documentation reviews per standard development processes. Prepare for and participate in technical reviews and discussions.\nTranslate end-user/customer needs into implementable and verifiable systems requirements.\nUnderstand capabilities and limitations of underlying technologies and products\nGenerate verifiable product level requirements from high level system requirements\nEstablish relationships and coordinate across multi-disciplinary teams to align end-to-end system requirements with product roadmaps\nSupport and drive development of complex system designs and service delivery\nPerform operational analysis and develop concept of operations, design and implementation plans \nDevelop and deliver presentations to communicate design activity plans and status to internal and external customers \nUp to 20% travel time\nAble to obtain a security clearance or have an active DOD Secret Clearance\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering field and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree in Electrical Engineering or related Engineering field and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.\nPreferred Additional Skills:\nKnowledge of Link 16\nKnowledge of Test Equipment including but not limited to O-Scopes, Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, Logic Analyzers, Signal Generators\nAbility to derive and decompose requirements to multiple sub-systems\nAbility to conceptualize, design, implement, and test complex RF, electrical & mechanical systems\nExperience in system test and production test\nExperience with RF Chain Analysis\nExperience with MBSE\nExperience designing Test Fixture and Interface Test Adapter (ITA) designs that meet performance, cost, and manufacturability goals\nExperience with JIRA, JAMA Connect, IBM DOORS, Cameo Systems Modeler, or Cameo Enterprise Architecture. \nIn compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $92,500 MIN - $171,500 MAX. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
