This position reports to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and is responsible for developing and maintaining production processes, as well as driving improvements through structured problem solving and collaboration with production teams.\nEssential Functions:\nDevelop and support post SMT processing for new and existing products, including fixturing / tooling and automated equipment programming.\nMaintain process documentation and work instructions.\nProvide programming, functional and technical support for depanelization and Through-Hole assembly equipment \nWork with other Engineering functions to identify and implement process improvements through projects\nWork with operators and operations supervisors to interpret and analyze operator suggestions to yield better production methods.\nHelp team to establish corrective actions using structured problem-solving methods and tools.\nSupport Equipment maintenance programs for effectiveness and on time completion\nSupport key strategic initiatives with the evaluation, deployment and validation of new equipment and process\nQualifications:\nBachelor's Degree with 2 years prior experience, 2 year post-secondary/AA Degree and 8 years prior relevant experience or Graduate Degree with 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.\nPreferred Additional Skills:\nHighly motivated self-starter who’s able to operate with moderate supervision in a fast-paced environment.\nKnowledge of manufacturing systems, production processes, technical standards, and manufacturing equipment.\nAbility to program equipment and analyze the processes\nStrong verbal and written communication skills including experience with MS Office products like Word and Excel.\nHighly responsive and possess good problem-solving skills\nAbility to communicate with individuals outside of one’s own department to complete projects that have a moderate impact on departmental results\nExperience with wave and selective soldering equipment and processes.\nExperience with IPC workmanship standards, including IPC-610 and J-STD-001\nLean Six Sigma training, preferably Yellow or Green Belt certification\nThe salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, Cleveland Ohio, Vermont and Virginia is $73,000 - $135,000. Thisisnot a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
