In this role, you will contribute to the development, modeling, and documentation of SRM designs using established engineering principles and industry best practices. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across engineering, manufacturing, quality, and suppliers to ensure successful product development and production execution. This position requires strong analytical capabilities, design proficiency, and the ability to operate independently while driving high-quality technical outcomes.\nEssential Functions\nLead mechanical design activities for solid rocket motors, propulsion systems, and associated components.\nDevelop design concepts, create 3D models, and produce detailed engineering drawings.\nPerform trade studies and generate component specifications, procedures, and technical documentation.\nCollaborate with analysis, manufacturing, project engineering, quality, and customer support teams to ensure design feasibility and producibility.\nPlan and execute design assignments within an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment.\nSupport production activities by resolving nonconformances, participating in process planning, and supporting production reviews.\nCoordinate with suppliers to ensure requirements are understood, achieved, and verified.\nSupport drawing and specification updates through established configuration control processes.\nParticipate in environmental, qualification, and component/system-level testing.\nPrepare and deliver technical presentations and engineering reports for internal and external stakeholders.\nAbility to travel up to 10%.\nMust be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s Degree and 6 years of mechanical engineering or related engineering experience;
