From long-range covert surveillance missions to search and rescue operations, our MX-series systems, and the mission systems solutions they produce stabilized high-magnification electro-optical and infrared images from airborne, marine and ground based platforms, enabling our customers to see first and act first.\nAbout the Role\nThe Supervisor, Inventory Management is responsible for all facets of resource management for a team of material control professionals. The position manages all aspects of the inventory flow of material from initial receipt until finished product is transferred to a customer.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nAnalyze, summarize and/or review data; interpret results, report findings and/or make recommendations.\nContribute to the management of the organization’s inventory, shipping and receiving ensuring controls are in place to support corporate policies and procedures.\nProvide critical financial information related to demand/build, inventory levels and revenue.\nManage Inventory Control related tasks that support CMII.\nProvide Key Performance Indicators for the organization as it relates to inventory level in stock and work in progress.\nMonitor and review timely delivery of material in support of the production build plan.\nCreate and roll out processes that ensure best practices are used in relation to inventory reduction. This includes lean manufacturing concepts related to inventory reduction.\nSupport all CI initiatives related to production control and material handling\nEnsure the material team adheres to the inventory cycle count program and year end WIP counts.\nSet and evaluate department measures in accordance to QCS (Quality Cost and Schedule).\nEnsure the care, control, and safe storage of inventory is in place at all times.\nManage scrap material and related material control processes\nDesired Education and Experiences\nDegree or Diploma in Operations Management\nTrack record providing leadership and supervision to a materials team in a fast paced environment\nCPIM Certification through APICS or equivalent is desired\nExperience in a Master Scheduling role a definite asset\n5 + years of experience using MRP and ERP systems\n*This posting is for a current vacancy.
