The Planner is responsible for translating program requirements into material demand, ensuring timely availability of materials, and maintaining alignment between supply, schedule, and inventory.\nEssential Functions: \nConvert program and engineering requirements into material demand (BOM & schedule).\nCreate and manage purchase requisitions (PRs) based on lead times and priorities.\nCoordinate with Buyers to align sourcing and delivery schedules.\nMonitor material availability and track deliveries against plan.\nIdentify and manage shortages, delays, and inventory risks.\nAllocate inventory to projects and support material movement.\nEnsure readiness of materials for production and customer deliveries.\nMaintain accurate planning data in ERP systems (IFS).\nKey Metrics for Success\nMaterial availability at required dates.\nSchedule adherence (plan vs actual).\nReduction in shortages and expedited orders.\nInventory accuracy and optimization.\nQualifications: \nBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field.\n3+ years of planning, supply chain, or operations experience.\nExperience with ERP systems (IFS preferred).\nStrong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.\nStrong planning and problem-solving capabilities.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and changing schedules.\nDetail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy.\nCollaborative mindset across cross-functional teams.\nEligibility Criteria:\nMust be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;\nMust be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2/NATO Secret security clearance;\nMust be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).\nL3Harris is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and is committed to treating all of its employees and job applicants with respect and dignity and to maintaining a workplace free from discrimination.
