From long-range covert surveillance missions to search and rescue operations, our MX-series systems, and the mission systems solutions they are a part of, produce stabilized high-magnification electro-optical and infrared images from airborne, marine and ground based platforms, enabling our customers to see first and act first.\nAbout the Role\nYou will have the opportunity to engage with engineers from various departments. Your primary task will be to support systems solutions projects/programs and evaluation of ruggedized Line Replaceable Units (LRU). This role requires someone with an outgoing personality, strong communications skills and attention to detail.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nPerform functional tests on products in a laboratory environment\nCreate, update and manage software testing utilities used to verify and validate system level functionality\nGenerate and revise systems engineering documentation, such as specifications, interface control documents, statements of work, schematics using our change control process\nDevelop, document and execute detailed test procedures for hardware and software functionality\nWrite thorough reports documenting the results of those tests as well as those performed by others\nOrganize, coordinate and track compliance status of requirement verification activities\nOccasionally use electronic equipment such as digital oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, etc.\nSupport Bids & Proposals activities with technical queries and compliance matrices\nRequired Capabilities\nExcellent report writing skills\nAdvanced knowledge of MS Office applications\nKnowledge and experience with programming languages, for example C, C++, C#\nKnowledge about software interface and communication protocols\nAbility to work with many engineers to coordinate interdepartmental efforts\nGood understanding of both Mechanical and Electrical aspects of Engineering\nExperience with electro-mechanical systems, optic or laser devices is an asset but not required\nAble to problem solve and make consistent progress on tasks independently\nDesired Education and Experiences\nEnrollment in a Bachelors or Advanced degree in Engineering or Science program \nMust be able to complete a 16 month Co-Op term starting May 2027\nCurrently enrolled and in good standing with co-op program through accredited university\nAble to obtain Canadian Controlled Goods Program (CGP) clearance\nDiversity & Inclusion\nWe believe that diversity among our employees makes us a stronger organization.\nWe are committed to diversity and inclusion within our L3Harris WESCAM family, and our community by welcoming and encouraging applications from anyone interested without regard to race, colour, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, protected veteran's status, Aboriginal status or any other legally-protected groups.
