As a Project Engineer, you will support the Project Manager in coordinating and managing water and wastewater construction projects. You will work alongside the field team, Superintendents, and clients to ensure that projects are executed efficiently and meet quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the water and wastewater industry and develop your career in construction management.\nRequirements\nKey Responsibilities:\nAssist in the coordination and execution of water and wastewater construction projects, including treatment plants, pipelines, and system upgrades.\nCollaborate with Project Managers, superintendents, and field teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.\nMonitor project schedules, budgets, and material procurement activities.\nSupport the preparation and submission of project reports and documentation.\nReview and assist with managing project specifications, drawings, and contracts.\nEnsure compliance with all safety standards, regulations, and quality control procedures.\nAssist with the management of subcontractors and vendors, ensuring timely delivery of materials and services.\nParticipate in regular project meetings and communicate with clients, subcontractors, and team members.\nProvide technical support to the field teams and troubleshoot construction-related issues.\nAssist with maintaining project records, including submittals, change orders, and RFIs.\nContribute to maintaining a safe, collaborative, and efficient work environment.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field Equivalent work experience accepted. \n1-3 years of experience in construction or project engineering, ideally within the water and wastewater industry.\nBasic knowledge of water/wastewater systems and construction processes.\nFamiliarity with construction plans, specifications, and technical documents.\nStrong organizational and problem-solving skills.\nEffective communication and teamwork abilities.\nProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.\nExperience with Procore is a plus.\nBenefits\nEmployer paid basic medical coverage with upgrade options, optional dental and vision plans.
