As Director, Infrastructure Operations, you own the office infrastructure environment, from Microsoft Entra, 365, and Intune to endpoint, network, and cloud security. You lead a team of five engineers and analysts, manage third-party providers against contract service levels, and maintain a strong cybersecurity posture as the organization grows toward Games time and the operational demands of a global event.\nKey Responsibilities\nOversee the office infrastructure environment, including Microsoft Entra, Microsoft 365, Intune, Google Workspace, Slack, and other enterprise technologies.\nManage third-party network, hardware, conference room technology, and endpoint service providers to agreed contract SLAs while continuously improving service quality.\nImplement and maintain a strong cybersecurity stance, including DLP, PAM, and ADM support and cloud-based security best practices.\nSupport breach and attack simulations, and lead response to cybersecurity incidents across endpoints, servers, and cloud services.\nLead a team of five infrastructure engineers and analysts across endpoint, server, cloud security, asset management, and service desk.\nRequired Competencies\nMinimum 8 years of experience leading enterprise infrastructure operations, service delivery, and security in complex, multi-partner environments.\nAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Entra, Office 365, and Intune, including strong identity management using Entra and Saviynt.\nHands-on experience with Zscaler, CrowdStrike, Mimecast, and PAM and IAM support in a cloud-based security environment.\nExperience with WorkspaceOne (Omnissa) and ServiceNow for endpoint management, asset management, and IT service delivery at scale.\nStrong understanding of ITIL frameworks, service delivery, and security frameworks, with a proven record of measurably improving service quality.\nValued Experience\nExperience with security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) platforms.\nSome experience with Google identity management.\nStrong leadership in a complex, layered environment with multiple partners and managed services.\nExperience running breach and attack simulations.\nExperience implementing data loss prevention (DLP) controls.\nWhat We Offer\nReal ownership of the technology environment that every LA28 teammate relies on daily.\nLeadership of a skilled infrastructure team through a fast-growing, high-profile mission.\nA high-trust technology organization that values sound judgment and continuous improvement.\nA direct role in powering the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles.\nWhat This Role Means for the Games\nThe infrastructure you run keeps every LA28 team connected, protected, and able to deliver. Your leadership keeps systems secure and services reliable as the organization scales toward the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles.\nPhysical Requirements & Working Conditions\nAvailable to work onsite in our Downtown Los Angeles-based office.\nThe majority of work will be conducted in an office setting, requiring extended periods of time using computers, phones, and other office equipment.\nThe LA28 office is an open floorplan working environment; employees must be able to work efficiently in an open cubicle environment.\nHours of work may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak event periods.\nPerform other duties as required; the role will evolve over time and may include operational responsibilities during the Olympic and Paralympic Games.\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.\nCompensation\nThe annual base salary range for this position is $126,000.00 - $182,000.00. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role.
