As Manager, Energy Program Management, you own end-to-end energy delivery at an assigned venue or set of venues, from electrical overlay design through installation and operations. You lead and develop a team of project managers and coordinate engineering teams, utility providers, contractors, and Authorities Having Jurisdiction so every venue has reliable power, on time and on budget, from test events through the Games.\nKey Responsibilities\nManage end-to-end energy delivery at assigned Games venues through design, installation, and operations, owning timelines, budgets, and resources.\nSupervise a team of project managers, setting priorities and overseeing their venue workstreams.\nLead the electrical overlay design process, running cross-functional meetings with engineering, design, and power delivery teams.\nTrack and report deliverable status, issues logs, dashboards, meeting minutes, and change orders to keep leadership informed.\nIdentify delivery risks and implement mitigations with contractors, utility providers, Authorities Having Jurisdiction, and partner functions.\nRequired Competencies\nMinimum 5 years of experience in construction or energy project management, including complex electrical projects across planning, design, and implementation.\nBachelor's degree in project management, construction management, or a closely related field; or 5 years of equivalent experience in energy project management.\nExperience directly managing a team of project managers and working with senior executives across multiple functional areas.\nStrong experience with Smartsheet, plus Power BI, Tableau, or comparable reporting and project management tools.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint for project documentation, collaboration, and reporting.\nValued Experience\nPMP or equivalent project management certification.\nExperience with temporary power systems and event overlay design.\nPower delivery experience for large-scale events, stadiums, or temporary venues.\nDesign review and permitting experience with Authorities Having Jurisdiction.\nExperience coordinating with utility providers on capital improvement projects.\nWhat We Offer\nReal ownership of the power that keeps Games venues running reliably.\nLeadership of a team of project managers across high-profile venues.\nCareer-defining exposure to utilities, government agencies, and venue partners.\nA collaborative team that values pragmatic, on-the-ground delivery under real pressure.\nWhat This Role Means for the Games\nThe power you deliver keeps competition, broadcast, and operations running at every venue you own. Your planning keeps the lights on for athletes, fans, and the world throughout the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Los Angeles.\nPhysical Requirements & Working Conditions\nAvailable to work onsite in our Downtown Los Angeles-based office.\nThe majority of work will be conducted in an office setting, requiring extended periods of time using computers, phones, and other office equipment.\nThe LA28 office is an open floorplan working environment; employees must be able to work efficiently in an open cubicle environment.\nHours of work may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak event periods.\nPerform other duties as required; the role will evolve over time and may include operational responsibilities during the Olympic and Paralympic Games.\nTravel as needed to stakeholder offices, government agencies, and Games venues and facilities.\nAbility to access active construction sites and venues under development, wearing required personal protective equipment.\nCompensation\nThe annual base salary range for this position is $88,000 - $115,000. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role.
