You will connect venue requirements with staffing forecasts and deployment strategies, including temporary paid workforce recruitment and placement. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Workforce & Experience, you will develop schedules, reports, dashboards and operational plans in complex environments. This requires analytical problem-solving, data-informed decisions, detail-oriented communication, collaboration and stakeholder management, project management and organization, and managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment with evolving priorities.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead workforce planning, staffing models and deployment plans, aligning venue allocations and schedules with operational requirements and service standards.\nManage equipment inventory and distribution: radios, information booth equipment and furnishings, uniforms, signage, supplies and workforce-related assets.\nCoordinate EVS, Volunteer Operations, Logistics, Technology and venue stakeholders on staffing risks, operational testing, simulations, exercises and test events.\nDevelop workforce reports, dashboards and performance metrics supporting operational decisions, venue readiness and improvements.\nMonitor Games-time staffing, resolve operational issues and shortfalls through resource deployment and staff redeployment, and support FCC and MOC staffing resolution.\nRequired Competencies\nBachelor's degree; or 5 years of equivalent experience in Event Visitor Services workforce planning or operations.\n5+ years of experience in workforce planning, operations management, event operations, venue operations, hospitality, customer service operations, or related fields.\nExperience managing large-scale staffing plans, workforce deployment, or operational resource management, including workforce forecasts, staffing models, deployment plans and operational strategies.\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications, with experience developing schedules, reports, dashboards and operational plans.\nStrong project management, analytical and problem-solving skills, with detail-oriented communication, collaboration, stakeholder management and ability to manage multiple priorities.\nValued Experience\nExperience supporting sporting events, entertainment venues, convention centers or hospitality.\nExperience with volunteers and large temporary workforces.\nFamiliarity with workforce management, scheduling, rostering or operational planning systems.\nExperience supporting readiness programs, test events or live delivery.\nExperience managing guest service infrastructure, equipment, logistics or multi-venue Games.\nWhat We Offer\nShape workforce plans supporting welcoming Olympic and Paralympic venues and services.\nCollaborate with teammates across Event Visitor Services, workforce, logistics and technology.\nDevelop transferable operational skills through planning, testing and Games-time problem-solving responsibilities.\nTake pride in shared success supporting well-prepared venues and visitors.\nWhat This Role Means for the Games\nReliable staffing and equipment help teammates deliver consistent visitor services. Through co-creation, integrity, excellence and inclusion, you help teams respond when venue needs change.\nPhysical Requirements & Working Conditions\nAvailable to work onsite in our Downtown Los Angeles-based office.\nThe majority of work will be conducted in an office setting, requiring extended periods of time using computers, phones, and other office equipment.\nThe LA28 office is an open floorplan working environment; employees must be able to work efficiently in an open cubicle environment.\nHours of work may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak event periods.\nPerform other duties as required; the role will evolve over time and may include operational responsibilities during the Olympic and Paralympic Games.\nCompensation\nThe annual base salary range for this position is $88,000 - $110,000. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role.
