Reporting to the Manager, Procurement and Contract Management, you will support sourcing activities, administer contracts and Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and lead the accreditation process for janitorial and waste hauling contractors within Cleaning and Waste. In the years leading up to the Games, you will shape accurate records, dependable vendor relationships, and clear accountability from the ground up, and gain cross-functional exposure alongside supportive teammates.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport development, administration, and tracking of procurement activities, including requests for proposal (RFPs), requests for information (RFIs), and tenders.\nCoordinate procurement documentation, schedules, and submission requirements, and keep records aligned with project milestones.\nSupport development, review, and administration of contracts, scopes of work, and SLAs, including amendments, renewals, and compliance activities.\nLead the cleaning and waste accreditation process for contractors and vendors in the janitorial and waste hauling industries, supporting onboarding and readiness.\nTrack vendor performance, service levels, key performance indicators (KPIs), and contractual requirements, and maintain compliance and performance reporting.\nRequired Competencies\n4+ years of experience in procurement, contract management, vendor management, or sourcing, including managing contracts, vendor documentation, and operational deliverables.\nStrong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail across procurement records, contract obligations, and vendor files.\nStrong analytical, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills, turning operational needs into clear contractual expectations for vendors.\nProven ability to support cross-functional teams in a dynamic, evolving, multi-stakeholder environment while balancing competing priorities and deadlines.\nAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and procurement, reporting, or contract management platforms to track obligations and milestones.\nValued Experience\nExperience supporting procurement, contracting, vendor onboarding, or service delivery programs.\nExperience with venue operations, logistics, facilities, hospitality, or major events.\nOlympic, Paralympic, FIFA, World Cup, or other major event experience.\nFamiliarity with California and local workforce principles.\nKnowledge of public-sector procurement processes or related contracting environments.\nWhat We Offer\nReal ownership of contractor accreditation for cleaning and waste services across Games venues.\nCareer-defining exposure to procurement and vendor management on a global stage.\nTransferable skills in sourcing, contract administration, and vendor performance management for future roles.\nA collaborative team where teammates share success, recognize good work, and support one another.\nWhat This Role Means for the Games\nClean, well-serviced venues shape how athletes, spectators, and partners experience the Games. The contracts you manage and the contractors you help accredit keep cleaning and waste services dependable, so each venue is ready when the Olympic and Paralympic Games arrive in Los Angeles.\nPhysical Requirements & Working Conditions\nAvailable to work onsite in our Downtown Los Angeles-based office.\nThe majority of work will be conducted in an office setting, requiring extended periods of time using computers, phones, and other office equipment.\nThe LA28 office is an open floorplan working environment; employees must be able to work efficiently in an open cubicle environment.\nHours of work may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak event periods.\nPerform other duties as required; the role will evolve over time and may include operational responsibilities during the Olympic and Paralympic Games.\nCompensation\nThe annual base salary range for this position is $73,000.00 - $98,000.00. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role.
