You will leverage Modern Data solutions, bring an eye for automation, and adopt unique LAB3 products (MDP) to build and deploy client solutions.\nCandidates can be based anywhere in Australia but for this engagement you must have active NV1 Security Clearance.\n\nThe role\nPerform as the lead Engineer for technical client engagements. Lead, deliver and oversee Modern Data assessments, solutions, and implementation for our clients.\nEngineer, advise and implement state-of-the-art technical patterns on Azure that address clients’ requirements for scalability, reliability, security, operations, and performance.\nParticipate in the consultation between LAB3 and clients to understand strategic business requirements and translate those into technical outcomes relating to effective cloud solutions.\nWhere required, architect and deploy framework-based ingestion capabilities for multi-zoned Big Data, Cloud analytics, and Enterprise Data Warehousing.\nCommunicate and present discoveries to Senior Management and Executive stakeholders (including C-Suite & Directors) as required\nProvide technical reviews on the architecture blueprints, roadmaps and design deliverables whilst supporting engagements as a SME.\nPartner with Project Leaders to provide technical input into scheduling, estimating activities and project delivery as required.\nSupport our Pre-sales teams in driving documentation, written requirements, and transformative direction.\nSetup proof-of-concept prototypes that assess the feasibility of solutions and demonstrate to our clients how technology can be leveraged.\nRun workshops and cloud adoption activities with our customers as necessary.\nRecommend client value creation initiatives and implement industry best practices.\nIdentify, interpret, and communicate meaningful insights, conclusions, cost estimations, workshops, presentations, and report to clients, as required.\nParticipate in the hiring and interview process for new LAB3sters\nProvide technical leadership and be a role model to engineers by providing onboarding support, influencing development plans, mentoring, educating, and encouraging best practice regarding designs and delivery execution processes.\n\nThe ideal candidate will have solid experience across the following tech.\nAzure Cloud\nAzure DevOps (DataOps)\nData Warehousing\nAzure Data Factory (ADF)\nAzure Synapse\nManaged Virtual Network\nManaged Private Endpoint\nAzure DevOps Integration.\nAzure Storage Account for NSG Flow Logs\nAzure Networking: VNets, Subnet, NSGs\nDatabase concepts: SQL Server, Azure SQL DB/MI and Application Services configuration\nKnowledge on broader Azure Resources -
