You will build and maintain reliable data pipelines, integrate diverse data sources, and create reporting datasets under the guidance of experienced team members. You will focus on ensuring high data quality and delivering business-oriented solutions aligned with company goals.\nWhat will be the main responsibilities?\n\nDesign, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.\n\nIntegrate data from internal and external systems (CRMs, LMS, marketing platforms, databases, etc.).\n\nDevelop and maintain API integrations (REST/JSON, OAuth, etc.).\n\nAutomate recurring data processes using Python (or similar scripting languages).\n\nDesign and maintain data models optimized for analytics and operational reporting.\n\nWork with cloud data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake) to ensure efficient storage and retrieval.\n\nImplement data validation and monitoring mechanisms to ensure accuracy and reliability.\n\nProactively monitor and resolve data pipeline failures.\n\nHelp build dashboards and data applications using BI tools, low-code/no-code platforms, and AI coding assistants.\n\nTranslate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders.\n\nCollaborate with analysts, data scientists, and business teams to define KPIs and reporting requirements.\n\nSuggest improvements to existing data flows and business processes.\n\nMaintain structured and comprehensive technical documentation (pipelines, integrations, data definitions, architecture).\n\nParticipate in cross-functional discussions to align technical implementation with business needs.\n\nRequirements\n\nPractical Python skills (or similar scripting language) for data processing, API requests, and automating recurring tasks.\n\nWorking knowledge of SQL, including joins, aggregations, CTEs, and window functions.\n\nBasic understanding of REST APIs, JSON, authentication methods, and pagination.\n\nExperience working with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS).\n\nUnderstanding of ETL/ELT concepts and relational database fundamentals, including tables, keys, and relationships.\n\nFamiliarity with Git for version control and collaboration.\n\nExperience using LLMs and AI coding tools to build, debug, and automate solutions, including reviewing and validating AI-generated code.\n\nAbility to investigate data issues, validate results, and document your work.\n\nAround 1 year of experience in a data engineering or data-focused role.\nSkills that would be “nice to have”:\n\nExperience with BI, low-code/no-code, or workflow automation tools, such as Power BI, Retool, or Google Sheets.\n\nExperience optimizing query performance and cost efficiency in cloud environments.\n\nExperience working with CRM, LMS, or marketing platform data.\n\nBasic understanding of CI/CD and automated data quality checks.\n\nBenefitsWhy Laba Group is the Place to Be 🔥:\n\nFlexible full-time.
