Other duties may be required and assigned.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nManage individual study quotation preparation process and timelines to exceed customer expectations and facilitate an efficient, high quality, accurate, and timely submission for assigned tasks.\nPrepare quotations using the company’s pricing tools.\nObtain third party vendor quotes from partner companies.\nParticipate in strategy calls and budget review calls, as needed.\nAssist in making recommendations on desirable proposals, based on established financial and operational criteria, as required.\nParticipate in cross-functional teams to improve the quality and timeliness of the quotation submissions.\nFollow up with Business Development Directors to ensure that proposals are complete and answer their need.\nAssist with the preparation of Business Development presentations, when requested.\nUpdate CRM database, as needed, and ensure accuracy of departmental information.\nAct as an expert resource to internal and external customers.\nParticipate in Proposal Management initiatives, when requested.\nPerform all other related duties, as assigned.\n\nEducation and Experience\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent in science, business, or marketing related discipline, 3-5 years customer service or related experience. \nExperience in a contract research and/or research setting preferred. \nAn equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above. \n\nSkills and Ability\nAbility to perform calculations and manage budgets. Ability to apply mathematical concepts to budget management for clinical trials. \nAbility to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or clinical research protocols. Ability to write reports and business correspondence. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from colleagues and clients. \nAbility to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. \nMust have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint, as well as an aptitude for learning new database software quickly.
