Join us in our mission to improve health and improve lives.\n\nLabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomy Supervisor to join our team in Mobile, AL.\n\nWork Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm with rotating weekends and additional days/hours as business needs require\n\nJob Responsibilities:\nSupervise a team of (+25)phlebotomists working in Patient Service Centers and/or physician's offices\nManage patient flow, wait times, and inventory levels and information logs\nMonitor monthly productivity and report any deviations as necessary\nCoordinate phlebotomists' schedules through resourceful and creative thinking\nPerform operational duties such as payroll, monthly schedules and performance appraisals\nPartner with Human Resources regarding employee relations issues and disciplinary actions\nHire and train phlebotomists to fill any open positions\nCommunicate effectively to internal and external customers including patients, client office staff, sales team, logistics and senior management\nProvide exceptional customer service to all patients and clients\nAssist in the set-up of new Patient Service Centers or Client Offices\nProvide resolution of any patient or client issues\nPerform, collect and prepare specimens when needed\nTravel to additional sites as necessary\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or GED or equivalent\nPhlebotomy certification from an accredited agency is preferred\nMust have a Valid Driver's License and good driving record\nMust be at least 21 years’ old\nPreferred Qualifications:\n3 years or more as a supervisor or leader of direct reports\n5years or more experience as a phlebotomist\nAdditional Job Standards:\nProven track record in providing exceptional customer service\nStrong communication skills; both written and verbal\nAbility to work independently or in a team environment\nComfortable working under minimal supervision\nReliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable\nFlexibility to work overtime as needed\nAble to pass a standardized color blindness test\nBe at least 21 years’ old\nValid Driver’s License and clean driving record\nAre you seeking an opportunity that makes a difference?
