Flying specimen routes assigned by scheduling.\nAdheres to the rules and regulations of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) as per the Labcorp aviation general operations manual and company policy.\nRetrieves and delivers medical specimens, freight, and personnel on both a scheduled and unscheduled basis as applicable.\nModerate physical effort (may include lifting up to 50 pounds); must comply with applicable safety procedures.\nVarying flight schedule.\nMinimum Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\nMust have a FAA Commercial Pilot Certificate - with an Airplane Single Engine Land with Instrument Rating.\nMeet FAA Licensing Standards and Requirements w/1-3 years of relevant flight experience (Fixed Wing). • 1200 Hours Total Flying Time (1000 hour must be fixed wing). • 500 hours PIC (fixed wing)\nPreferred Qualifications\nPilatus PC-12 experience\n2500 Hours Total Flying Time\n200 Hours, PIC in Turboprop and/or Multi-engine aircraft\n200 Hours, PIC in Fixed Wind Aircraft with 200+ Horsepower Single engine / Complex aircraft experience\nATP Rating (Airline Transportation Pilot)\nFour-year college degree\nAdditional Job Standards\nBasic proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.\nStrong customer service mindset with the ability to interact professionally with pilots, mechanics, vendors, and team members.\nEffective verbal communication skills to coordinate aircraft movements, fueling activities, and operational support.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to safety procedures.\nAbility to follow written procedures, technical manuals, and operational instructions.\nDemonstrated reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to learn and develop within aviation operations.\nDesire to build a career in aviation, flight operations, or aircraft services through hands-on experience and continuous learning.\nWhy You Should Apply\nThis role offers an unparalleled opportunity to be a key player at Labcorp Aviation.
