Together, we’re improving health and improving lives.\nLabcorp is seeking a Financial Data Specialist to join our team in Durham, NC!\nWork Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00am-5:00pm EST\nThis hybrid position offers a balanced schedule of three in-office workdays at our Durham, NC location and two remote workdays per week, supporting both collaboration and flexibility.\nAs a Financial Data Specialist, you will be the guardian of financial master data across Oracle Fusion Cloud and legacy systems. Daily, you will perform a high volume of data entry receiving requests from different parts of the business and going into Oracle and making those configurations. You will also respond to questions from different stakeholders related to data management and performing troubleshooting to resolve issues. Utilize Microsoft Excel for datasets of master data performing analysis.\nYour work ensures data integrity, consistency, and accuracy, enabling seamless financial operations and informed business decisions. This role offers the chance to collaborate with cross-functional teams, optimize data processes, and contribute to global system enhancements. No deep technical background is required- just strong attention to detail, solid organizational skills, and a willingness to learn our systems.\nCore Responsibilities: \nChart of Accounts (COA) Maintenance\nSupport updates and maintenance of COA structures in Oracle Fusion Cloud. Assist in validating COA changes against financial reporting requirements. Participate in testing and validation of COA updates during system upgrades and patch deployments.\nCustomer Data Management\nProcess and validate customer data updates in Oracle Fusion Cloud. Ensure timely and accurate entry of customer records, hierarchies, and attributes. Collaborate with business units to resolve data discrepancies and ensure alignment with business rules.\nLegacy System Support\nMaintain master data in legacy ERP systems. Ensure accurate mapping between legacy systems and Oracle Fusion Cloud. Participate in data migration and reconciliation efforts during system upgrades or transitions\nData Quality & Governance\nPerform regular audits to identify and correct data quality issues. Support data governance initiatives and adhere to data management policies. Document data processes and contribute to continuous process improvement efforts.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or information Systems with 1+ years’ experience in ERP system data management\nPreferred Qualifications:\n2+ years experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud\n2+ years experience with data mapping and reconciliation\n2+ year experience with Chart of Accounts (COA)\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel\nAdditional Job Standards\nBasic understanding of financial structures\nKnowledge of legacy ERP systems (Hyperion HFM, Peoplesoft)\nExperience with data analysis and reporting tools\nExposure to data governance frameworks\nExperience with data analysis and reporting tools\nExcellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment\nBenefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
