Together, we’re improving health and improving lives.\nLabCorp is seeking a HVACR Technician to join our team in Tampa, FL.\nWork Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm (rotating weekends & on call as needed).\nJob Responsibilities\nPerform maintenance, diagnose and repair problems, and coordinate with outside contract vendors\nAssist in the maintenance of building MEP systems in a large medical laboratory\nWork with various MEP systems including VRF systems, air handlers, cooling towers, chillers, lower pressure boilers, humidifiers, VAV systems, air compressors, pumps, motors, exhaust fans, and refrigeration devices\nMonitoring the Building Management System on a daily basis alerting management of any discrepancies \nPerform daily rounds to check process gases, compressed air systems, DI Water Systems, and Lab Waste Systems\nRead & interpret intrepid shop drawings & control schematics\nUpdate excel spread sheets, generate word documents and managing daily emails.\nParticipate in annual safety training and earn required certifications for the position\nAssist with storm weather preparation and severe weather conditions along with other trades as needed.\nTravel to other sites when requested by management\nMinimum Requirements\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\nEPA certified Universal technician\n3 years or more of HVAC experience\nPreferred Qualifications\nHVAC trade school certification\nAdditional Job Standards\nBAS and CMMS systems knowledge\nPossess a valid driver's license and clean driving record\nStrong working knowledge of electrical, mechanical and plumbing systems\nStrong computer and data entry skills\nExcellent communication skills; both written and oral \nAbility to work independently as well as in a team environment\nFlexibly to travel to other locations within the region\nAbility to lift 50lbs\nAt LabCorp we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives.
