Together, we’re improving health and improving lives.\nIntern - Finance GL & Tax\nLabcorp is seeking anIntern - Finance GL & Tax to join our Finance team inShanghai, China.\nInternship Details:\nDuration: 20 weeks, full-time/Onsite\nDates of Internship: Dec 2026-May 2027\nCompensation: Paid internship\nEligibility: Final-year students who are expected to graduate in July 2027 are preferred. \nHowever, students at all academic levels who are pursuing relevant fields of study are encouraged to apply.\nAbout Team:\nDuring this internship, the selected candidate will join the China Finance team and gain hands-on experience in General Ledger accounting and Tax operations. The intern will work closely with Finance, Tax and business stakeholders to support accounting close, account reconciliations, tax compliance, financial reporting and various finance transformation initiatives.\nInternship Assignment Summary:\nSupport monthly and quarterly close activities, including journal preparation and validation.\nAssist in balance sheet account reconciliations and account analysis.\nSupport tax compliance activities, including preparation of VAT and Corporate Income Tax related documentation.\nOrganize and maintain accounting and tax supporting documentation.\nAssist in internal and external audit requests.\nSupport financial reporting, data analysis and finance-related projects as assigned.\nPerform other ad hoc tasks assigned by Finance management.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nCurrently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, or Auditing.\nBasic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nGood English reading and writing skills.\nStrong analytical mindset and attention to detail.\nAbility to handle confidential financial information responsibly.\nAdditional Job Standards:\nStrong organizational and multitasking abilities.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively.\nGood analytical and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nHigh attention to detail and accuracy.\nPositive attitude and willingness to learn.\nAbout the Program As a Labcorp intern, you’ll be immersed in hands-on work that complements your academic background.
