Together, we’re improving health and improving lives.\nLabcorp is seeking aHistology Scientist Intern to join our Histology team in Geneva.\nWork Schedule:\nMonday-Friday.\n40hrs per week.\nJob Responsibilities:\nDevelop, optimize, and implement multiplex immunofluorescence (mIF) workflows for clinical and translational research applications.\nAdvance high-plex assay capabilities, establish quality control processes, reduce imaging artifacts, and develop image processing solutions to ensure robust, reproducible, and high-quality biomarker analysis.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nCurrent enrolment in a Bachelor’s degree program in Life Sciences or Biology\nPreferred Qualifications:\nCurrent enrolment in a Master’s degree program in Life Sciences or Biology\n3 months or more of experience in image analysis\nAdditional Job Standards:\nYou must be a student and be eligible for an internship agreement with a third party.\nIntermediate level in French is required. Intermediate level in English is preferred.\nInterest in histology, image analysis and programming\nAttention to detail and willingness to verify incomplete or inconsistent information with the appropriate stakeholders.\nAbility to collaborate across teams and communicate clearly with colleagues from different backgrounds.\nInitiative and ability to manage agreed tasks under supervision, communicate progress, and raise issues promptly.\nCommitment to confidentiality and following approved procedures.\nAbout the Team:\nThe histology department performs standard histology services (tissue processing, FFPE block sectioning, IHC, FISH and multiplex immunofluorescence). The department also develops AI algorithms to analyze images and provide meaningful clinical data to our clients. The histology department is a multidisciplinary environment where lab technicians, scientists and pathologists collaborate to deliver reproducible and high-quality results.\nAbout the Program:\nAs a Labcorp intern, you’ll be immersed in hands-on work that complements your academic background.
