Together, we’re improving health and improving lives.\nLabcorp is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to join our Necropsy team at Harrogate, North Yorkshire.\nWork Schedule: Monday - Friday - 37hrs\nJob Responsibilities:\nStock control, reagent preparation and ordering of consumables, labelling of pots and slides\nPreparation/ archiving of a range of animal samples in accordance with study paperwork and SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures)\nGeneral housekeeping and cleaning procedures to ensure the continued daily operation of the laboratory\nMay assist in routine laboratory procedures, including animal postmortems and foetal sectioning\nWorking within the confines of a GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) environment\nMinimum Qualification s:\nGCSEs of grades C/4 or above in Maths, English and Science\nAdditional Job Standards:\nAll tasks will be performed with minimal supervision on satisfactory completion of training\nAll training will be provided, and this is a great first step for anyone looking to get into the industry.
