Together, we’re improving health and improving lives.\nLabcorp is seeking a remote Lead Product Owner, Real World Data to join our team.\nLocation: Remote\nWork Schedule: This is a full-time, exempt (salaried) position assigned to a First Shift schedule, with standard business hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in your local time zone. Sponsorship (including H-1B, OPT/CPT, EAD, or other temporary work authorization) is not available.\nJob Responsibilities\nProduct Planning\nPartner with Real World Data leadership and senior stakeholders to refine and execute the product roadmap.\nTranslate product strategy into detailed product vision, requirements, specifications, and execution plans.\nCollaborate with business leaders, business development, marketing, and other stakeholders to define use cases and develop products for new customer segments.\nIdentify and evaluate product requirements, dependencies, risks, and implementation considerations.\nContribute to business case development and return-on-investment analyses.\nPrepare and deliver presentations that communicate strategic initiatives, business value, and technical concepts to diverse audiences.\nMonitor emerging technologies, market trends, and innovations relevant to Real World Data products and customer needs.\nProduct Development\nLead coordination of product development activities throughout the product lifecycle.\nOwn and prioritize the product backlog to ensure alignment across cross-functional teams.\nIdentify resource requirements and partner with stakeholders to support product development needs.\nCoordinate with project and delivery teams to support release planning and delivery timelines.\nCollaborate with technical teams, business partners, and subject matter experts to clarify requirements and delivery expectations.\nFacilitate discussions that support decision-making, requirement validation, and workflow optimization.\nCommunicate product progress, risks, issues, and mitigation plans to stakeholders and leadership.\nServe as the primary point of contact for product requirements, feature definition, and product-related inquiries.\nOperational Excellence\nOversee development and maintenance of product documentation, requirements, and supporting materials.\nVerify that products and features meet established requirements and acceptance criteria.\nSupport adoption of Agile methodologies and continuous improvement activities.\nCollaborate with technical, business development, and commercial operations teams to support successful product delivery.\nDrive process improvement initiatives that enhance operational effectiveness and stakeholder engagement.\nMinimum Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or GED with 9 or more years of experience supporting data product development, product ownership, product management, or business analysis; or Associate degree with 7 or more years of experience supporting data product development, product ownership, product management, or business analysis; or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Mathematics, Statistics, or Life Sciences with 5 or more years of experience supporting data product development, product ownership, product management, business analysis.\n2 or more years of experience using tools and methodologies supporting requirements management, backlog prioritization, or Agile workflows.\n2 or more years of experience building products using Real World Data within the life sciences or healthcare industry.\n2 or more years of experience using project lifecycle management tools such as Jira, or Confluence..\n2 or more years of experience with regulatory and compliance standards relevant to Real World Data and Real World Evidence.\nPreferred Qualifications\nMaster's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Mathematics, Statistics, or Life Sciences with 3 or more years of experience supporting data product development, product ownership, product management, or business analysis.\n2 or more years of experience contributing to business case development, product strategy, or product roadmap planning.\n2 or more years of experience working with healthcare, life sciences, clinical, laboratory, claims, or other real-world healthcare datasets.\n2 or more years of experience supporting Agile product development teams in a cross-functional environment.\n2 or more years of experience leveraging AI-enabled tools to support product development, requirements management, or operational efficiency.\nAdditional Job Standards\nIndustry Knowledge\nKnowledge of Real World Data (RWD), Real World Evidence (RWE), and the healthcare or life sciences industry.\nKnowledge of HIPAA, data privacy laws, AI governance principles, and related industry standards.\nCommunication & Influence\nExcellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.\nAbility to communicate technical concepts effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.\nSkilled in stakeholder engagement, facilitation, negotiation, and consensus building.\nCritical Thinking & Decision Making\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.\nAbility to evaluate information, identify risks, and develop practical recommendations.\nCollaboration\nAbility to build and maintain effective working relationships across cross-functional teams.\nAbility to influence outcomes and drive alignment among diverse stakeholders.\nProfessional Effectiveness\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nAbility to work independently in a remote environment.\nDemonstrated professionalism, adaptability, persistence, and a continuous learning mindset.\nAbout the Role\nThe Lead Product Owner, Real World Data is responsible for leading the planning, prioritization, and development of Real World Data products that support emerging customer segments and strategic business objectives. This role partners with stakeholders across product, technology, engineering, and business functions to define requirements, manage product backlogs, coordinate development activities, and deliver data products that address evolving healthcare and life sciences market needs. The position plays a key role in ensuring products are delivered on time, aligned with business priorities, and optimized to provide value for customers and stakeholders.\nApplication Window: 9/30/2026\nPay Range: $110-130k\nAll job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data. The position is also eligible for an annual bonus under the Labcorp Bonus Plan.
