Join us in our mission to improve health and improve lives.\nLabcorp is seeking a Logistics Supervisor to join our team in Tucker, GA.\nWork Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm; coverage on other shifts and weekends as needed\nJob Responsibilities:\nSupervise the day-to-day operations of the logistics team\nManage the performance of all couriers using established performance metrics\nImplement and review courier routes and schedules to increase efficiencies\nEnsure department is properly staffed with the ability to cover all necessary routes \nEstablish relationships with outside logistics vendors to obtain coverage when needed\nGenerate and review daily/weekly reports and escalate any issues to leadership\nEnsure entire logistics staff is properly trained and any performance issues are addressed\nMeet regularly with direct reports to provide coaching and feedback for their development\nAddress and resolve both internal and external client issues\nMaintain and monitor department spend to ensure proper budget allocation\nManage and maintain branch vehicles according to Corporate Fleet standards\nEngage in continuous process and service level improvements\nResponsible for administering and managing policies and procedures\nPerform administrative and clerical duties as needed\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma or GED or equivalent\n3 years or more experience as a driver or courier\n5 years or more as a people leader\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAssociates degree\n5 years or more experience as a medical courier\n7 years or more of people leader experience\nAdditional Job Standards:\nAbility to motivate and develop team members\nStrong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office\nBasic understanding of managing costs and an overall budget\nStrong time management and organizational skills\nAbility to effectively communicate with various levels within an organization\nExcellent critical thinking and problem resolution skills\nAbility to handle the physical demands of the position\nComfortable with handling lab specimens when needed\nValid Driver’s License and clean driving record\nBe at least 21 years’ old\nDo you have a background in Logistics and are seeking a leadership opportunity?
