Together, we’re improving health and improving lives.\nLabCorp is seeking a Non-Registered Technician to join our team in Seattle, WA\nWork Schedule: Saturday-Wednesday 11PM- 7:30AM\nJob Responsibilities:\nDetermine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria\nPerform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures\nMonitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality\nDemonstrate the ability to make technical decisions regarding testing and problem solving\nPrepare, test and evaluate new reagents or controls\nReport accurate and timely test results in order to deliver quality patient care\nProcess specimens for the microbiology test requested\nPerform and document preventative maintenance and quality control procedures\nIdentify and replenish testing bench supplies as necessary\nAssist with processing of specimens when needed\nMaintain a safe work environment and wear appropriate personal protective equipment\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or Medical Technology\nAdditional Job Standards:\nProficient with computers; Familiarity with laboratory information systems is a plus\nAbility to work independently and within a team environment\nHigh level of attention to detail along with strong communication and organizational skills\nAble to pass a standardized color blindness test\nFlexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs\n**Pay Range: $23.43-37.22\nPlus 3rd shift differential\nAll job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience and the terms of the collective bargaining agreement between Dynacare Northwest, Inc. and United Food and Commercial Workers Union, Local 21.\nBenefits: Regular, full-time or part-time employees working 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), accrue up to 18 days of Annual Leave per year (includes 8 holidays) and Sick Leave (0.0333) hours of sick leave for each hour of work) capped at 64 hours per year, Tuition Reimbursement and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan.\nLabcorp is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer:\nLabcorp strives for inclusion and belonging in the workforce and does not tolerate harassment or discrimination of any kind.
