Together, we’re improving health and improving lives.\nLabcorp is seeking an Operations Scientist I to join our team in Indianapolis, IN.\nWork Schedule - Mon - Fri (Day Shift)\nJob Responsibilities:\nConduct bioanalytical sample preparations\nDocument work and maintain study documentation and laboratory records.\nCommunicate with project managers, lead scientists, and supervisor on projects daily/weekly\nOrder consumables for projects as needed\nPlan assigned workload on a daily basis and effectively schedule multiple assignments.\nProvide detailed sample analysis and inventory updates to project managers and lead scientists to ensure projects meet agreed upon timelines\nSet up, operate and perform routine and non-routine maintenance on general equipment\nAttend and participate in project meetings\nSupport process improvement initiatives\nMaintain a clean and safe laboratory work environment\nParticipate in client visits as needed\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma with 2 years or more of laboratory experience\nExperience using laboratory equipment (e.g., balances, pipettes, centrifuges\nExperience with analytical instrumentation (for gas, liquids or solids)\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBachelor of Science/Arts (BS/BA) degree in chemistry, biology\n2 years or more experience working in a laboratory setting (e.g. balances, pipettes, centrifuges etc.)\nGLP Documentation experience\nComputer Experience (e.g., Word, Excel) or LIMS\nAdditional Job Standards:\nExperience working multiple projects in various stages at the same time\nAbility to handle a fast paced environment\nOrganized and detailed communication\nAble to effectively communicate, both verbally and in writing\nExperience working in a variety of study types, analysis procedures and methodology projects\nApplication Window: 10/20 thru 10/31/26\nPay Range: Typically $23.-$25\nAll job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data.\nBenefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
