If your answer is \"yes\", then we invite you to become a Phlebotomy Manager with Labcorp.\nPhlebotomy Manager will oversee the Phlebotomy teams in Region. This position will be responsible for ensuring a large (20+) client base of physician offices as well as Patient Service Centers are maintained and serviced appropriately.\nWork Schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm, additional days and hours may be required\nJob Responsibilities:\nOversee the day to day operations of a region that includes supervisors and phlebotomists working in patient service center and/or client office locations\nProvide coaching and mentoring to supervisory staff as well as phlebotomy staff\nWork closely with large accounts to support operational services through phlebotomy\nEnsure all policies and procedures are updated and implemented in each territory in compliance with state and federal regulations and company mandates\nMonitor monthly productivity and report any deviations as necessary\nResolve any client related matters or customer complaints appropriately\nEnsure patient flow, wait times, inventory levels are being properly maintained \nComplete regular and timely financial analyses for all department related positions\nEnsure regular and timely completion of periodic inspections of patient service centers\nReport any performance, compliance or staffing related issues and work with the appropriate departments toward resolution\nPerform operational duties such as payroll, monthly schedules and performance appraisals\nManage costs effectively by minimizing employee turnover and controlling overtime costs\nAssist in the setup of new Patient Service Centers and/or client offices\nPerform, collect and prepare specimens when needed\nTravel to additional sites as necessary \nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or GED or equivalent\n5 years or more experience in Phlebotomy\n2 years or more experience as a supervisor\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAssociates degree\n8 years or more phlebotomy experience\n2 years or more supervisory experience in phlebotomy\nAdditional Job Standards:\nIn lieu of work experience, a Phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency\nKnowledge of phlebotomy duties, responsibilities and techniques\nStrong leadership skills and proven ability to manage and mentor a team\nAbility to communicate professionally and effectively with internal and external customers\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nValid driver’s license and clean driving record\nExperience with MS Office programs\nThe position is also eligible for an annual bonus under the Labcorp Bonus Plan. Bonuses are payable based on corporate and/or business segment performance and are subject to individual performance modifiers. Compensation may also include discretionary short and long term incentive packages\nBenefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
