Together, we’re improving health and improving lives.\nLabcorp is seeking a Phlebotomy Supervisor to join our team in Rockville, MD and surrounding areas.\nWork Schedule: Monday - Friday 4am-9pm; Saturdays as needed (hours vary) must be flexible\nJob Responsibilities:\nSupervise a team of phlebotomists working in Patient Service Centers and/or physician’s offices\nManage patient flow, wait times and inventory levels and information logs\nMonitor monthly productivity and report any deviations as necessary\nCoordinate phlebotomists’ schedules through resourceful and creative thinking\nPerform operational duties such as payroll, monthly schedules and performance appraisals\nPartner with Human Resources regarding employee relations issues and disciplinary actions\nHire and train phlebotomists to fill any open positions\nCommunicate effectively to internal and external customers including patients, client office staff, sales team, logistics and senior management\nProvide exceptional customer service to all patients and clients\nAssist in the set-up of new Patient Service Centers or Client Offices\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or GED or equivalent\n3 years of experience as a phlebotomist\nPhlebotomy certification from an accredited agency\nPreferred Qualifications:\n5 years of phlebotomy experience\n2 years of supervisory or leadership experience\nAdditional Job Standards:\nProvide resolution of any patient or client issues\nPerform, collect and prepare specimens when needed\nTravel to additional sites as necessary\nValid Driver’s license with clean driving record with reliable transportation\nBe at least 21 years’ of age\nFlexibility to work overtime as needed\nAble to pass a standardized color blindness test\nDemonstrated leadership skills and the ability to lead others\nAbility to effectively manage time and prioritize duties\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nProficiency in Microsoft Office\n**Salary range** $55,000 - $82,000\nAll job offers will be based on a candidate’s skills and prior relevant experience, applicable degrees/certifications, as well as internal equity and market data\n**May be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, quarterly bonus based on performance metrics\nThis position requires you to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
