Join us in our mission to improve health and improve lives.\nWork Schedule\nThis is a full-time, exempt (salaried) position assigned to a First Shift schedule, with standard business hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Business needs may occasionally require flexibility in work hours, including earlier, later, or additional hours, with reasonable notice provided when possible.\nResponsibilities\nLead solution design, architecture reviews, and technical governance for enterprise data, analytics, reporting, and AI initiatives.\nPartner with business stakeholders, product owners, project managers, and architects to translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions.\nOversee the end-to-end delivery of enterprise solutions, ensuring quality, security, scalability, and alignment with business objectives.\nGuide teams in the design and implementation of modern cloud-based data platforms leveraging technologies such as Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, and related services.\nEstablish and enforce best practices for data engineering, data governance, data quality, security, and operational support.\nDrive adoption of AI-powered engineering tools and AI-Driven Development Lifecycle (AI-DLC) practices across design, development, testing, deployment, and support activities.\nEvaluate emerging technologies and lead proof-of-concept initiatives to improve platform capabilities and delivery efficiency.\nCollaborate with enterprise architecture, infrastructure, security, and operations teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.\nManage technical risks, dependencies, and delivery challenges while ensuring successful project outcomes.\nSupport executive reporting, business intelligence, analytics, and data-driven decision-making initiatives.\nServe as a trusted advisor to business and technology leadership on data, analytics, AI, and enterprise platform strategy.\nLead, coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams of Data Engineers, Analytics Engineers, and technical professionals.\nDrive workforce planning, capacity management, resource allocation, utilization tracking, performance management, and succession planning.\nFoster a culture of innovation, accountability, continuous learning, and engineering excellence.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.\n12 or more years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, Analytics, or related technology domains.\n5 or more years of experience leading and managing technical teams, including performance management, coaching, and talent development.\n5 or more years of experience in data analytics.\n5 or more years of experience with database administration, application program development, SQL development on multiple platforms, and report development/generation required.\nPreferred Qualifications\n5 or more years of experience with Tableau and Alteryx.\nSQL certification, Tableau certification; Six Sigma or Lean certification\nAdditional Job Standards\nProven experience delivering enterprise-scale data, analytics, and reporting solutions using Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, and modern cloud technologies.\nStrong expertise in Data Engineering, Data Warehousing, Data Modeling, ETL/ELT frameworks, Data Governance, and Analytics platforms.\nExperience leading solution architecture reviews, technical design governance, and large-scale implementation programs.\nStrong understanding of Data Lake, Lakehouse, and modern cloud-based data platform architectures.\nHands-on experience with technologies such as Python, PySpark, Spark, SQL, and enterprise data integration tools.\nExperience with business intelligence and visualization platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar technologies.\nExperience leveraging AI-assisted development tools and implementing AI-driven engineering practices to improve delivery effectiveness and productivity.\nStrong knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies, DevOps, CI/CD practices, and cloud-native solution development.\nExcellent stakeholder management, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.\nExperience in Healthcare, Diagnostics, Life Sciences, or Pharma industry.\nExperience working with management and their staff to understand day-to-day business operations and requirements to provide reporting results that are streamlined and support operational procedures.\nGood knowledge of handling databases and proficiency in SQL, including experience with Toad/Today Data Point® for Oracle (or equivalent).\nSix Sigma or Lean experience.\nExperience in developing auto-generated reports (e.g. SQL Server Report Services, Telerik Reporting, etc.).\nExperience in developing a hands-off approach to the generation and delivery of complex informational reporting.\nExperience in rapid application development is highly desired.\nMust possess excellent PC skills: (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).\nThe Senior Manager, Data Analytics is responsible for supporting and delivering business intelligence to SVPs, VPs, GMs, Sr. Directors, Lab Management, and additional leadership stakeholders within the Labcorp Diagnostics Operations organization. Utilizes analytical tools to streamline and automate (when possible) data management, data analysis, reporting, and data visualization. Tasked with ensuring that business leaders are provided with a balanced view of actionable insights into the health of the Diagnostics Operations supply chain.
