Join us in our mission to improve health and improve lives.\nLabcorp is seeking a Specimen Processing Team Lead to join our team in Richmond, VA\nWork Schedule: Monday - Friday, 4:00p - 12:30am with OT as business needs demand. Rotating weekends a must. Must be flexible and willing to make adjustments to work schedule to ensure proper coverage and leadership of specimen accessioners, accommodation for all team lead time off.\nJob Responsibilities:\nAssist in the supervision of the day to day operations \nHelp lead the team in their daily processes and procedures\nAssist with preparation of laboratory specimens for analysis and testing\nOversee routing of specimens to their respective prep areas\nEncourage process improvements and best practices\nPerform quality assurance checks to ensure efficiency and accuracy\nResolve any production errors as requested by management\nResearch and resolve any production errors while escalating when necessary\nEngage in continuous process and service level improvements\nPerform quality assurance checks to ensure efficiency and accuracy\nResponsible for enforcing and managing policies and procedures\nPerform administrative duties as needed\nMinimum Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or GED or equivalent\n3 years or more experience in lab, accessioning, data entry or production.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAssociates degree\n2 Years or more experience working in a clinical laboratory\n2 Years or more experience as a people leader\nJob Additional Standards:\nStrong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office \nExcellent communication skills; both written and verbal\nHigh level of attention to detail with strong organizational and prioritization skills\nStrong critical thinking skills with the ability to make decisions in a fast paced environment\nAbility to handle the physical requirements of the position\nFamiliarity with laboratory operations as well as policies and procedures\nAble to pass a standardized color blindness test\nAre you detail oriented, process focused, and enjoy leading others?
