Together, we’re improving health and improving lives.\nLabcorp is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to join our team in Burlington, NC!\nThe Senior Manager, Revenue Cycle Management Finance serves as a strategic finance business partner to the Diagnostics Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) organization. This role is responsible for financial planning, expense forecasting, operational analytics, revenue cycle performance reporting, and strategic decision support for one of the company's most critical functions.\nWorking closely with Revenue Cycle Operations, Accounting, and Executive Leadership, the Senior Manager provides financial insights and recommendations that improve cash flow, working capital performance, operational efficiency, and profitability across the diagnostics billing and collections lifecycle.\nThis position plays a key role in overseeing and managing the financial planning and budgeting processes of the Diagnostics Revenue Cycle Management organization. The role also supports monthly revenue close activities, financial controls, and strategic transformation initiatives designed to modernize and optimize the revenue cycle function.\nWork Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8:00am-5:00pm EST\nThis hybrid position offers a balanced schedule of three in-office workdays at our Burlington, NC location and two remote workdays per week, supporting both collaboration and flexibility.\nCore Responsibilities:\nStrategic Finance Partnership\nServe as the primary finance partner for designated Revenue Cycle Management leadership teams\nProvide financial guidance supporting operational decision-making and performance improvement initiatives\nTranslate operational performance metrics into financial outcomes and actionable recommendations\nDevelop executive-level presentations and business cases for senior finance and operations leadership\nFinancial Planning & Analysis\nPrepare the Revenue Cycle Management annual expense budget and monthly forecast\nMonitor organizational spending and analyze monthly results against budget, forecast, and prior year performance\nIdentify financial risks and opportunities and provide mitigation recommendations\nSupport workforce planning and productivity improvement initiatives\nRevenue Close & Accounting Support\nSupport monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities\nPrepare analyses supporting bad debt reserves, contractual allowance estimates, accounts receivable reserves, revenue recognition assessments, and net revenue reporting\nPartner with Corporate Accounting to ensure compliance with GAAP, ASC 606, and company accounting policies\nControls, Compliance & Audit Support\nSupport SOX-related processes and documentation\nAssist with internal and external audit activities\nEnsure integrity, accuracy, and consistency of financial reporting and operational metrics\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related discipline with 7+ years of progressive experience in FP&A\nPreferred Qualifications:\n7+ years’ experience in healthcare finance, accounting, business partnering, or revenue cycle finance\nCPA, MBA, or another advanced financial credential\nDemonstrated experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and business analytics\nStrong financial modeling and analytical capabilities\nAdvanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint\nProven ability to influence decisions across a matrixed organization without direct authority\nExperience in diagnostics, laboratory services, healthcare services, or revenue cycle management.\nKnowledge of healthcare reimbursement methodologies, revenue recognition principles, and AR accounting\nExperience with Oracle, Hyperion, Essbase, Power BI, Tableau, or other enterprise reporting tools.\nAdditional Job Standards:\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nStrong organizational and time-management skills\nCapacity to work independently and simultaneously handle a variety of complex matters with minimal supervision.\nExperience taking ownership of issues and providing practical advice\nThe position is also eligible for an annual bonus under the Labcorp Bonus Plan. Bonuses are payable based on corporate and/or business segment performance and are subject to individual performance modifiers.
