Together, we’re improving health and improving lives.\nStudy Technician- Animal Operations\nLabcorp is seeking a Study Technician to join our Animal Operations team in Denver, PA!\nSchedule: Monday-Friday 6:00am-2:30pm\nflexibility to work overtime as needed\nJob Responsibilities\nIn this position you will be conducting Animal Research studies that will be looking at the safety, effectiveness and toxicity of drugs that are in early development phase and/or chemical substances.\nProvide animal care and husbandry in accordance with regulatory requirements and established animal welfare standards.\nMaintain animal facilities, including sanitation of animal rooms, cages, and work areas.\nSupport study activities by following protocols, collecting and recording data, and maintaining accurate documentation.\nPerform basic technical procedures, including clinical observations, dosing, sample collection, animal handling, and tissue collection, as trained.\nOperate laboratory and data collection equipment while adhering to quality and safety standards.\nAssist with inventory management, shipment and receipt of materials, and study logistics.\nMaintain client confidentiality and comply with applicable regulatory, quality, and biosafety requirements.\nCollaborate effectively across teams and species programs to support research objectives.\nPerform other related duties as assigned.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Animal Science, Biology, Life Sciences, Veterinary Technology, or a related science field.\nPreferred Qualifications\n6 months or more of experience in animal handling, husbandry, or laboratory animal experience.\n6 months or more of experience with small and large animal dissections\nKnowledge of animal welfare regulations and research environments.\n6 months or more of experience with data collection, sample collection, or laboratory procedures.\nFamiliarity with GLP, non-GLP, AAALAC, USDA, or related regulatory standards.\nAdditional Job Standards\nComfortable working in animal research facility\nMust demonstrate a commitment to animal welfare, quality, and regulatory compliance.\nAbility to learn animal care, husbandry, research procedures, and regulatory requirements.\nAbility to maintain confidentiality regarding client and study information.\nExperience with using standard laboratory equipment such as scales, measures, pipetting\nAbility to follow research study procedures and document findings\nGood time management skills\nAbility to follow written and verbal instructions and maintain accurate records.\nStrong attention to detail and organizational skills.\nEffective communication and teamwork skills.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.\nFlexibility to support study and business needs as required.\nFlexibility to work overtime as needed\nPay Rate: $22/hr.\nBenefits: Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
