Together, we’re improving health and improving lives.\nLabcorp is seeking a remote Team Supervisor, Global Client Delivery, to join our Central Labs Services Team in the United Kingdom.\nWork schedule\n1-year temporary contract.\nMonday to Friday.\nStandard hours.\nJob Responsibilities\nSupervise the day-to-day operations of the assigned customer or functional team members:Ensure appropriate resource allocation to successfully implement and execute project plans.\nManage workload balance within assigned teams and participate in resource management across global teams.\nEnsure consistent implementation, use, and review of SOPs.\nCoordinate and monitor progress to ensure the achievement of team goals.\nImplement, monitor, and report performance metrics and take corrective action when appropriate.\nEffective and timely adherence to management communications, meetings and procedures.\nParticipate in departmental strategy execution.\n\nGrow and develop your team including:Ensure the development of a competent workforce to meet growth plans within budget.\nEstablish and monitor performance objectives for assigned direct reports and take corrective action where appropriate.\nComplete thorough, timely, and well-documented performance evaluations.\nResponsible for the activities and outcomes of direct reports, taking corrective actions where appropriate.\n\nInstill and manage a culture of continuous improvement, quality, and productivity:Responsible for monitoring and tracking resolution of all customer complaints, issues, and concerns related to the team’s responsibilities. Manage and ensure the resolution of such instances in collaboration with leadership.\nEnsure issues are documented and leveraged to prevent repeated occurrence.\nLeverage expertise by ensuring the breadth of experiences and liaison network are leveraged.\nEnsure all services failures are identified, tracked, and resolved in a timely manner. Take preventative action to ensure that the same service failure does not occur again.\n\nEnsure the team and department deliver on customer commitments in accordance with World Class Project Management and Service Excellence:Ensure best practices are applied within the team regarding budget and risk management.\nEnsure systems are updated to accurately reflect workload, timelines, etc.\nLead client relationship activities; adapt depending on specific client needs.\nEnsure management of team and/or customer milestones and proactive communication with customers.\nProactively consult with customers regarding the impact of their decisions. Seek to understand their true needs and how Labcorp can best deliver to their needs.\nUnderstand how each customer defines success and tailor processes and interpersonal approach to best meet customer needs, while balancing the advantages of global consistency.\n\nEffectively collaborate with others and work across boundaries as necessary:Assist leadership in managing and supervising the day-to-day operations of the team.\nWork with the appropriate Business Development Directors to understand the culture and evolving needs of customers.\nWork across CLS functions and Business Units to remove barriers and optimize client delivery consistently.\n\nCentral mentoring / coaching :Lead centralized onboarding, mentoring, and coaching for Study Design Leads through their development journey across all Lead pharma client teams\nFacilitate cross-team mentoring groups and learning communities.\nCreate a trusted environment that promotes collaboration, networking, and continuous learning.\n\nOther duties as assigned.\nMinimum Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\n3 or more years of experience in clinical research in a client facing role\n1 or more years of experience in Central Laboratory Services\n1 or more years of experience in coaching or mentoring peers\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in life science, medical, scientific, technical, or laboratory related discipline\n1 or more years of people leadership experience\nAdditional Job Standards\nFluency in English\nDemonstrates advanced customer service expertise and a strong commitment to client satisfaction\nDelivers excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication\nBrings strong planning, organizational, and analytical problem-solving capabilities\nProven ability to drive continuous improvement and enhance operational efficiency\nShows a high degree of initiative and thrives in collaborative team environments\nExperienced in team building, influencing stakeholders, and resolving conflicts effectively\nMaintains a consistent record of successfully completing projects and meeting objectives\nApplies strong change-management skills to guide teams through evolving priorities\nIn this position, you will be responsible for the coordination and management of an assigned team with a single or multi-functional area to ensure the successful implementation of the strategy, structures, processes, and metrics of the team all while ensuring customer satisfaction.
