Together, we’re improving health and improving lives.\nLabcorp is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team at Birmingham, AL.\nWork Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:00am - 4:00pm.\nJob Responsibilities\nPlace orders for supplies from vendors via computer and telephone\n\nLoad and unload supplies from trucks and verify packing slips\n\nReceive and process stock into inventory management system\n\nProcess orders from client offices and patient service centers via phone, fax and email\n\nPrint requisition forms and barcode labels for internal and external clients\n\nPack orders for shipment via various shipping methods such as Fed Ex & UPS\n\nResolve all customer concerns efficiently and timely\n\nMaintain inventory control according to company standards\n\nParticipate in scheduled cycle counts and full physical inventory\n\nDeliver supplies to local branches, clients and patient service centers when needed\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\n\n3 months or more of experience in a warehouse environment\n\n3 months or more of medical or laboratory experience\n\nAdditional Job Standards\nKnowledge of inventory control and cycle counts\n\nBasic computer knowledge and data entry skills\n\nAbility to work independently and within a team environment\n\nHigh level of attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multitask\n\nAbility to work in a fast paced production environment and meet established turn-around times\n\nStrong communication skills; both written and verbal\n\nAbility to handle the physical requirements of the position\n\nFlexibility to work overtime or other shifts depending on business needs\n\nAt Labcorp we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives.
